GARY L. WARTIK, J.D.
Gary has an extensive background in all areas of business planning, crisis management and debtor-creditor relations. He has worked with new, developing and mature companies in need of outside management services for over 25 years.
His experience in the area of debtor-creditor relations, Chapter 11 and 12 planning and related "insolvency" issues dates back to 1977. Gary's insolvency experience ranges from out-of-court arrangements and bankruptcies for small and medium-sized businesses, to working with creditor's committees and company management in very high profile Chapter 11 and 12 cases.
Gary is actively involved with the business community throughout Ventura County. Current affiliations include the Board of Directors of Goodwill Industries of Ventura and Santa Barbara counties; Board of Directors of the Thousand Oaks-Westlake Regional Chamber of Commerce; Chairman of the Board of Directors, Economic Development Collaborative-Ventura County (EDCVC); Chairperson of EDVC Economic Roundtable; Group Leader of the Ventura Chapter of Professionals Network Group (PNG); Board of Counselors, School of Business at California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks; and Member of Board of Directors of the California State University, Channel Islands Alumni and Friends Association.
Gary received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from California State University, Northridge; a Masters Degree in Public Administration from the University of Southern California; and his Juris Doctorate from San Fernando Valley College of Law.
